{Wordless Wednesday} Laundry Fun

Last Friday we celebrated Sawyer's birthday! I'll be sharing our day shortly but I wanted to share our cute milestone photos! Remember these? I decided I needed to repeat this and he thought I was funny! I wish I had done it someplace other then a windowless hallway so the lighting wasn't awful though.... I'm glad that he didn't cry the whole time like this: And thought it was just … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} Sawyer’s 1st ER Trip

Oh boy! What a weekend. We almost got through it too. It was 5 minutes past bedtime but Sawyer was playing so contently. What were a few more minutes of him playing really going to do? Well, Sunday night it did quite a bit.  He fell right into his wooden activity cube he was playing with and sliced his forehead pretty good. At first hubby & I weren't sure what to do. The bleeding stopped … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} October on the Trail

The leaves are starting to change colors here. I can't wait! In a few more weeks New England is going to be bursting with color! At the beginning of the bike trail it's already stunning to see. Last week I decided to bring my DSLR along for our walk and let Sawyer out Multiple times along the way. At first he wasn't sure what to think of the leaves. But quickly learned they could be … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} Sawyer’s 1st Haircut

Last Thursday I had my volunteer shift for our local consignment and Daddy ended up taking a day off work and hung out with Sawyer. He decided to take him in for his first haircut and knew I'd want lots of pictures! Just before: They wet it. Got started. He was doing great from the looks of it! And then I saw this one.   And this one. I was sad I wasn't there to make him … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} He’s Learning!

Sawyer is growing so fast these days. While he's going to be my baby forever he's making it pretty clear he's quite the big boy! I finally got in his room and made it how I had originally envisioned it. I need to grab another pack of these foam floor tiles so it comes out a bit farther but I'm pleased with how it came out! Sawyer has been busy showing off his smarty pant skills too. My … [Read more...]

Sawyer’s Wilton Disney Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake {Step by Step Tutorial}

The theme for Sawyer's party took me forever to decide. So long that by the time I made up my mind it didn't leave much time for the planning. I wanted to be creative on the cake and almost even did a review on a really cute one from a local baker but in the end, I really wanted to make his Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake myself. So the morning before the party I woke up in a panic. I still had no idea … [Read more...]

How We Spent Sawyer’s Birthday

I can't believe my baby is one. His actually birthday was on Thursday so I cleared my whole schedule and we went out for the day and the computers went completely away. It landed on a school day so once I dropped Gavin off at school (he hates the bus) I stopped by Dunkin' Donuts and grabbed him a double chocolate donut. It's safe to say he liked it. Here's a video of his first taste of a donut … [Read more...]
