Last Thursday I had my volunteer shift for our local consignment and Daddy ended up taking a day off work and hung out with Sawyer. He decided to take him in for his first haircut and knew I’d want lots of pictures!
Just before:
They wet it.
Got started.
He was doing great from the looks of it!
And then I saw this one.
And this one. I was sad I wasn’t there to make him feel better. Hubby was there though. He said he did great. He sat still overall and it went rather quick.
He aged to a big boy with just a little haircut. Where did my baby go?

I love the whole series of pictures… as I scrolled down, I was thinking to myself, “Gee, he is so calm” … then, I saw the screaming and tears. So sad. However, at least it ended with a smile and he is absolutely adorable!

Oooooh those tears are so pitiful, poor thing!! But he did so good besides the little melt down. He’s such a cutie, and now with his haircut, he looks so grown up!

Aw, poor kiddo. At least he looks super cute after wards though! I guess I got lucky whenever my son just fell asleep during his first hair cut (no joke).
He really does look so much older without those wispy baby hairs! Oh my gosh. Still sooo adorable.
So cute! I remember giving my son his first haircut. I had the genius idea to give him a sucker to keep him occupied. What was I thinking? After the first snip the sucker was covered with hair. Anyway, it all went well and he too looked like a little man. Now he is 18 – where has the time gone?

Awww, look at those tears! It seems almost every kid gets freaked out by their first haircut. It turned out well. The cut looks good on him.
