The reason I say past is because I’ve never done one of these posts. I always worry the product that I really love that I forgot to make the list. For the ones that immediately pop into my head as my favorites I will list here.It may turn out a little bigger then I planned as this is two years in the making.
Hoover LiNX Cordless Stick Vac
I’ve actually heard horrible things about Hoover and was really worried about reviewing one of their products. I’ve been using the Hoover LiNX Cordless Stick Vac since end of September (ish) and I can’t imagine not having it. It is one of those items that if it did break I’d be out the same day replacing it.
Sleepy Safari Organic Collection from Summer Infant
From the crib set to the nursery gear (I reviewed the playpen & high chair too) I love it all. It is so incredibly soft! It’s organic! It’s gender neutral! Need I say more? Sadly, this set isn’t getting the attention it deserves and has come close to the chopping block. I would love to help bring it more attention as set is definitely in my top baby picks!
Vtech MobiGoThis toy is both educational and fun. It’s affordable and you can purchase additional cartridges as well in all your child’s favorite characters. Truthfully we love all our Vtech toys but for the last six month this one has been by far a favorite!
Kushies My BagThis bag is actually an item I reviewed in my very first month of reviewing back in April 2009. I have taken this bag on every vacation Gavin has ever been on. It’s been on multiple plane rides and more! The quality is outstanding and it provides me with so much organization. We actually brought this to Disney with us last summer and crammed it so full I thought for sure the handles were going to rip off before we got home. Instead it has continued to live and has been on more trips since.
Pediped ShoesI will admit I had never purchased Gavin an expensive pair of shoes. Yes, I thought $30-$40 was too much on a set of shoes. I then found myself needing to buy multiple pairs of shoes each season because he was burning right through them. Then I was sent a pair of Pedipeds for review. They lasted the rest of the school year. His summer sandals – all summer long! Back in September we reviewed a pair of Jake Shoes and he is still wearing them and they look as good as new! By removing the insert they last longer size wise too!
Complete Air Convertible Car Seat by Safety 1st
There is one car seat that I’ve reviewed that has remained in my car no matter what review has landed in my lap. It’s the Complete Air Convertible Car Seat by Safety 1st. When it comes to my kids I want what I believe is the ultimate in safety and with this car seat I feel like Gavin is a safe as he can be. Not only is it safe but it is incredibly easy to use. I can’t stand my husbands car seat as I feel I spend more time fumbling with the straps then anything else. The Complete Air Convertible Car Seat by Safety 1st is always easy to get in and out of and it you need to adjust its a one handed job- literally!
Easy to use, Huge impact! I love my bedroom ever since I added this wall quote in our room. I really thought my hubby would be a pain about it but he hasn’t said anything. The quote went up in minutes and it hasn’t given me any trouble since.
Mutsy Grow Up Booster SeatThis is also one of the first items I reviewed. Do you know Gavin is still using it and it looks just as good as the day we got it. It’s easy to use and clean and gives just the right height he needs to be level with the table. I tried quite a few of these and struggled until I found this one. or should I say it found me.
Horizontal Skillet Rack Maple from Swedish Designs
Again an oldie but a goody! I am still waiting years later for hubby to build the shelves in my cabinets. If it wasn’t for this awesome skillet rack my cabinet would be unmanageable. Actually it is. The only thing I can find are my frying pans…other then that I have to start digging!
Tropical Wave Water Slide from BounceHousesNow.com
Best.Ever. My kids watch the thermometer so they can pull this out. We have several residential bounce houses but the waterslides are definitely the best. We have spent hours and hours of summer fun on our huge water slide!
Dazzle Dry Nail PolishesI’m so excited that I’m a Dazzle Dry Blogger but don’t let that think it influences my opinion of the product. I’ve been using this nail polish since April 2009 and haven’t been happy with its competitor brands since. Not only do I love it but one by one I’ve been getting my friends and family hooked on it took. What makes it so great? It dries quick, doesn’t chip, and looks great! I’ll be telling you more about it again later this month but it had to make the list!
Olive Kids EverythingHow do I even pick a product from them? I love it all. In fact I have bought way more from them then I could ever review. Quality products, Amazing look!
Worst Product Ever
This would have to be the BARBAR Italy 3800 Ionic Charger Blow Dryer I reviewed. The dryer was less then four months old when it BURST into flames while in use. Not only could it have seriously burned me but it could have also caught my house on fire. I had to run through my home with it in flames until I could get it outside and extinguish it. I contacted the company immediately and instead of an apology and/or a replacement the company was rude and argued with me. I would never buy this product or purchase from their company as they have no interest in standing behind their products. I have had readers actually contact themselves about my story to see what they’d say and they denied even ever hearing about it and then got rude with them as well. Glad I saved my emails 🙂
Of course anything Wilton. No one item stands out as I love every single item from them! Hope you enjoyed my list. I am 100% sure that I have forgotten several great items. I think I’m going to put together a list of my favorite baby items as there are several not here that I already know would be on the list 🙂

I actually reviewed it well over a year ago so you would have had to of been with me for awhile 🙂 I LOVE this seat. Takes a bit to get use to the “ears” but you don’t notice them in no time.
Do the “ears” bother Gavin at all?
My daughter got a Mobigo for xmas. She’s 2.5 so a few of the games are too advanced for her, but I am having a great time “helping” her play the parts she doesn’t get 🙂 It’s a great toy so far, and she is actually picking up on it by watching me help her, so I think she will really get a lot of use out of it as she grows.
Guess I’m a little slow right now–I didn’t comprehend your title until I read all the way through the post! This is a good idea to look back and see if your initial impression held up.
Thanks for the great list. I’m looking for a bag to take on trips with my twins, and the Kushies one seems like it would work well, especially if it holds up even when stuffed full!
The worst product I have reviewed was garnier fructis blow dry perfector. It completely ruined my hair! Many others have said the same happened to them too.

I follow a bunch of blogs and this is the FIRST time I’ve seen something that says do not buy this product. I feel as if bloggers are positive about everything they review. I just want an honest assessment so I don’t go and waste my money. I think it’s bc I’m so blunt and honest myself I expect that of others. Thanks for putting out this list =)
i’m using my Mutsy grow up seat still but for my nieces, I love it. The MobiGo is awesome too, definitely a top pick!
