Summer Infant – Organic Natures Purest® Sleepy Safari Collection Baby Gear – Review & Giveaway!

Summer Infant is well known for their Infant Baby Monitors. I have their Day&Night® Flat Screen Color Video Monitor and I’ve loved the ease of mind being able to wake up and see my son when I think I’ve heard a bump in the night. However, there is so much more to Summer Infant then Baby Monitors!

As many of you know we have been trying for our last baby for the past year. This has given me lots of time to do research for the exact items I want to use for my last bundle of joy. I kept finding myself going back to Summer Infant’s Sleepy Safari Collection. On top of its incredibly cute gender neutral pattern but its completely organic!

I love themes when it comes to selecting baby items. I love it when I can get everything to match. The Sleepy Safari Collection has everything you’ll need from crib bedding, toys, layette, and more! What really caught my attention though was their organic baby gear!

The Soothing Comfort Bassinet is an excellent addition to the Natures Purest® Sleepy Safari Collection. The bassinet and pad sheet are made with naturally grown and colored cotton and a canopy feature three soft toys to entertain your little bundle of joy. The bassinet also has a musical unit that plays 3 musical melodies, 2 nature sounds and a womb sound, and has soothing vibrations to put your baby at ease.

The Nature’s Purest® Sleep Safari Complete Comfort High Chair is a beautifully-designed product that features a a reversible seat pad, one-hand release tray with dishwasher safe insert tray and locking castors for portability. The chair also has a 3-position seat with recline feature, 4-position height adjustment and a 5-point safety harness for peace of mind.

The Complete Comfort High Chair is my absolute favorite to the baby gear! When Gavin was little I was all about “the look”. I actually paid top dollar for a highchair that would match really nicely with my dark wooden dining set. However this chair lacked many things. It couldn’t recline and didn’t have wheels. I guess it was no big deal because I didn’t have those options for Johnny either. Let me tell you when I was missing out on! This chair is fantastic. It can recline back for when your child is still small and just learning. It doesn’t just recline back into one other position it has the ability to recline into three positions so that as baby grows you can slowly ease them up to the upright position.

Plus, Summer Infant acknowledges the fact that caregivers are at different heights as well. Or that we could be sitting at different heights as well. The Complete Comfort High Chair has 4 different height positions for you to choose from. They are so simple to switch in between the different positions. In the picture you can see the tabs on the sides of the chairs just simply lift and switch. The back has one as well to recline back.

I also love how you can pull the chair right up to the table so that your child is still a part of the family meal. It has a one hand release tray to make putting your child in as easy as possible and there is a removable food tray that can go right into the dishwasher for an easy clean up! I love that the tray also has a separate area for a cup holder to help prevent cup spillage when you introduce the cup.

The Complete Comfort Playard is a full size bassinet with embroidered bumper, canopy and playard sheet. The beautiful playard features a musical unit that plays 3 melodies, 2 nature sounds and a womb sound along with soothing vibrations. In addition, the playard sheet is removable and washable. The Complete Comfort Playard is also full of convenience features including a changing table, parent-assist tray, wheel and a travel bag for portability.

This Complete Comfort Playard is the softest playpen I have ever felt. I love how the complete playard was super soft. The bassinet part, canopy, and the playard sheet are all made of the same super soft cotton. And yes you read that right! It comes with an organic sheet that fits both the playard and the bassinet. I don’t know any other playard that comes with a sheet- and an organic one at that!

I also love that it has the complete parent tray and changing table feature. I have used this feature and let me tell you there is nothing more convenient then this! This is great if you’re using this for your bedroom or in your living room. You don’t have to go to their bedroom everytime you need to change baby. I loved this! If you just had a c-section and you can’t easily get upstairs to your childs room this is a great option so you don’t have to run up and down all day. It also helps keep all your basic needs near by as well. My only complaint about the set lays here. The button to put up the changing pad is only on one side. The way I had it in my bedroom it just happened to be facing the wall instead of me. I could have simply taken it apart and switched it so that I could turn it around and had it not been an issue. While its nice that it can be fixed it would be nice to have the button on both sides. Personally, I’d prefer no button and just be able to flip it back and forth.

I know this picture below is a bit odd but I read all the time in other mom reviews that their biggest complaint on playards is that they don’t fit through doorways forcing them to keep the playard in one room. I really hadn’t noticed this playard being smaller then any other I’ve reviewed or that I had lost any space but it fit as I went to move it down the hall I was so pleased. Since it also has wheels on two sides you can easily tip it and move it to where ever you need it. Of course if you need to take it to Grandma’s house it comes with a convenient travel bag as well!
