{Wordless Wednesday} Party Like You’re SIX! Big Backyard Party!

On Saturday we celebrated Gavin's 6th birthday by throwing him a big backyard birthday party! We kicked it off with some time on the waterslide. We didn't plan on using this one but our party one was attacked by mice over the winter. I was almost in tears when we saw how ruined it was. Then we moved on to cake. It was 95 degrees out so picking an ice cream cake was great. I loved it too because … [Read more...]

Our New Yard

We've finally been putting some love into out porch area and finished the porch up a few weeks ago. My hubby got the lattice up and over the weekend we went out and bought some plants from this awesome plant nursery. It's SO hard figuring out just what we wanted but the people over at the Hadley Garden Center were a huge help!  Doesn't it look great? (Don't mind the review product on the steps … [Read more...]

The Easthampton, MA Bear Fest with Local Artists

Last Friday my mom took a half day at work so we could all visit the Easthampton, MA Bear Fest. It's the 2nd year for this fun event and it's so much fun to walk around town and check out the bears with the kids together! There are 40 in total so we didn't get to them all but we will go back and finish them all soon!  The Easthampton Bear Fest is a public art project in which 40 life-size … [Read more...]

(Wordless Wednesday} School Baseball Night with the Blue Sox!

Our family auto body sponsored a baseball game by our minor league baseball team. Every family that had a ticket would receive free entry to the game to see the Holyoke Blue Sox play. Johnny got to go down in the field and throw the first pitch! All the kids from my son's school were allowed onto the field for the national anthem. Gavin hung out with a few of his classmates while there. I … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} Baby Photography Props That Make Me Giggle

With Sawyer being my last baby I'm making sure that I enjoy every single second of him. I am taking so many pictures of him! Johnny left his sunglasses on the coffee table and when I saw them sitting there I couldn't help but put them on Sawyer. Then that made me think of other ways to be silly. Gavin has these glasses from the Lorax movie and he took off the tape middle and for some reason … [Read more...]

The Bronx Zoo

Sorry I'm later then usual. Just got back from the Bronx Zoo where I was a parent chaperone for the 5th grade field trip there. We had such an awesome day and while it was nice to spend a day with just Johnny it was a long first day without Sawyer. I still have tons of photos to go through but wanted to share these for now. … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} Albert Einstein

Johnny had to do a big project for the end of year. They were all given people to research and they had to find out about them and also dress up as them for the school's 'Living Museum'. Johnny was Albert Einstein and he did an awesome job!   Of course he wanted to imitate this poster: ONLY Wordless/Wordful related posts should be linked here. No giveaways or other posts. Wordless Wednesday – Smiles

I'm waiting for the day you all tell me to stop posting so much about Sawyer. I know I smother you with pictures on facebook. Well, here are some more :) Today I caught this smile. He can smile bigger but it's the biggest one I've caught so far. It's hard because he smiles at me and not the camera. So I'm trying to do both. Which also explains the focus on his mouth- not his eyes. then a … [Read more...]
