{Wordless Wednesday} Soccer Champions

Over the weekend we had soccer play-offs. The boys played a hard season and  walked away with two awards. They not only placed first for the season but they also won the Championships. Here they are shortly after as a team. My Hubby (aka Coach) was pretty proud of his team. I love that Johnny and his Dad have soccer to share. ONLY Wordless/Wordful related posts should be … [Read more...]

WW- New England Fall Photography with My Kids

I love summer. I like it warm but one thing that excites me about fall is the color. Here in New England our autumn is in full swing! Now that I have my DSLR I love it even more! I love the photos I've gotten of the boys this year and last. Then the next day I took Sawyer outside. I had found the hat we used to do our 'Baby + Pumpkin Photo Shoot' and wanted to see if he'd wear it. At first he … [Read more...]

My Most Recent Family Favorite Memory #ShareWhatsGood #MC

“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch's. I received product samples to facilitate my review, a gift code to giveaway, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.” I love family time. I love traveling. When the two combine I'm in heaven. Every summer when it starts to come to an end we head north to Maine. It's our end of summer vacation and we … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} 1st Day of School [7th & 2nd Grade!]

I can't believe it's September! Where did summer go? Like very year our schools kick off the 1st day of school the Tuesday after Labor Day. Johnny was not impressed with me still wanting to take his "1st day of school" pic but I told him he had to give me one. (see above) When I tried for a second telling his father to get in the picture I got a huge thumbs down. Hubs wasn't thrilled either but … [Read more...]

A Day On The Connecticut River, Massachusetts!

Here in New England we had a TON of rain this spring and early summer which cause the Connecticut River, Massachusetts to flood and become unstable. There was no boating allowed. Between that and a crazy schedule we FINALLY got out on the boat this past weekend. Sawyer thought he was going to get to drive. Here are some fun pictures I took that day! … [Read more...]

Our Annual Family Vacation to Lake George, New York #Roadtrip

I hope you guys all had a great week last week celebrating the 4th of July. My boys just had their last day of school on June 28th and we left Sunday for our first road trip vacation. The Hubby gets the week of the 4th off every year and every year we go away with his parents to celebrate. This year we went back to Lake George, NY. It's only about 2 hours to get there for us by car. I was … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} 18 Miles

On Mother's Day I wanted to go for a long bike ride. Hubby wasn't feeling it and neither was Gavin so Johnny and I took off to do our entire bike trail. However, Johnny managed to talk me into taking the new detour. They've been attaching all the trails recently and now most of the trails connect to other ones. We ended up going through 4 towns and a total of 18 miles! (this is the RuKeeper … [Read more...]

The Manhan Bike Trails

I love that we live close to the bike trail. They finished it at the end of last summer and this year we are really putting it to good use! I've been learning how to run on it every night and this weekend we dusted off all the bikes and hit our Manhan Bike Trails. Sawyer was not thrilled with his helmet but it's a must. Isn't he the cutest little thing? I love that all the … [Read more...]

Six Flags New England

I was super bummed out because I had to cancel a trip to NYC for an event over the weekend last minute due to lack of childcare. Being home for the weekend opened up other possibilities for us though. It was the last weekend Six Flags New England was running their season pass specials and I wanted to take full advantage. We haven't been since Johnny was Gavin's age and I wanted to go back but … [Read more...]
