{Wordless Wednesday} Sawyer’s 1st Haircut

Sawyer's 1st Haircut

Last Thursday I had my volunteer shift for our local consignment and Daddy ended up taking a day off work and hung out with Sawyer. He decided to take him in for his first haircut and knew I'd want lots of pictures! Just before: They wet it. Got started. He was doing great from the looks of it! And then I saw this one.   And this one. I was sad I wasn't there to make him … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} 1st Skirt

skirt Collage

I'm finally looking at clothing again. I'm trying not to invest in too much but after feeling like I had nothing to wear to a wedding shower last weekend I knew it was time to find some pieces I could wear dressed up or casually. After the shower Gavin had a birthday party and none of the parents stuck around so I took it as an opportunity to head over to TJ Maxx that was just down the road. … [Read more...]

{Wordless Wednesday} Baking Tip

Blueberry Lemon Streusel Muffins 22

I've been doing a bunch of baking lately since I have 23 POUNDS of blueberries that we've picked this month. We picked 13 lbs the first time and just went back for 10 more. I'm hoping to get 5 more next week as the season closes out. Baking Tip: Add a little of your dry mix to your fruit to keep them from sinking on the bottom during the baking process. This will work for berries, chocolate … [Read more...]
