Ever since Hayden could make the noise of a truck he has loved them. He has been pushing trucks around the floor as long as I can remember. As he has gotten older he likes the realistic looking ones. Hess Toy Truck has a new toy truck and tractor for the 2013 holiday season. It is amazing! Hess has really put some cool features into this toy. Any truck or tractor lover in your life will be in love with this set. The tractor snaps into the back of the truck and will haul to any of your little construction workers job sites.
The truck has 45 lights that not only light up but has a setting to have them flash as well. It also has 4 realistic sounds: ignition/idle, horn, back-up alert and hydraulic lift. I will warn you it is a little loud, it is not a toy that will be on when little sister is napping. The sounds are so realistic your neighbors will wonder if you are really having construction done at your house. A hidden ramp pulls out of the back of the truck trailer for the motorized tractor to drive off of.
The tractor will move itself forward or backward and also has working lights. It has a locking front bucket with release button and also a 360-degree swiveling back bucket.
Both the truck and tractor are a good sturdy size. They are really well made and I know will last for years. This would be the perfect gift for all your little truck fans. They also both come with their own energizer batteries! Score, one less thing I have to think about and purchase.

I LOVE the Hess Toys! I stumbled across them on Amazon – last year’s Helicopter and SUV set was only $20. What a bargain! Durable, multiple features and lights – totally awesome. My 4 year old loves them… he put a ton of them on his Amazon Christmas list this year 😉

I love that this rig works “just like REAL” … oh man I want this for a certain boy indeed! And he has a little tablet… I am not completely certain it has wi fi but if not, Mom and big sis has a wifi one that CAN be used for the truck’s app. Oh man a toy of the space age, who can resist it?
