Coupons! How do you organize them? What tricks do you have?

I have recently fallen behind in my weekly coupon cutting. As you can see I think there are about 4-6 weeks here Yikes! Luckily none of them have started to expire. I do get 2 sets of each week’s coupons. So it also makes it look like more then it is.
If you have a CVS in your area, make sure to compare the P&G saver to it. You can save TONS of money each week and spend close to nothing on beauty & hygiene products. To see past examples on how I literally walked out with free stuff you can check my past posts with the tag CVS in them.
Once I cut them, I then sort them into categories. I usually cut anything I’d be willing to buy if it was to have a good sale. Even if it wasn’t something I wouldn’t normally buy. I have definitely gotten to the store and been like Ugh, I had a coupon for that and threw it out. All because it wasn’t a normal product I’d purchase.
Once they are all clipped I put them into small envelopes labeled with the same categories.
I go through these often because the paper on the corners start to tear from being pushed around in my purse so much. I’d like to find a new way to store them…maybe with the ability to break them down more then they are.
With that all said…
I need to break down my categories more and find a new system to organize in…
Here are some great finds I found on Etsy:

BoodyBabies has this personalized sewn set.
This one is my favorite because its closest to what I’m doing now.
She only does this private order so you’ll have to convo her on Etsy to get one set up.

TwoHappyStampers has this adorable file folder type one!
Cicistudio has these great multiple categories….
but it comes as a PDF and you have to put it together yourself.
So, let me know…
How do you do your weekly couponing?
What style organizer do you use?
What & How many ways do you break your items down?
Any tricks or tips you’d like to share?

Cute stuff! I love the cloth ones! My method is using an index card box. Then I sort my coupons by separating them into what can be found in each aisle at my store.

Those are cute organizers! I used a divided small box for mine, but right now I don’t seem to have too many coupons and it’s not working as well for me.

I cut out the coupons just in case – and sometimes I’ll be the coupon fairy and leave ones with the products if I am not going to use them.

    what great little organizers!
I used to use an envelope sized accordion file thingy. But I don’t tend to do coupons much anymore because the store brands are almost always still cheaper than the name brands with a coupon…at least around here.

I definitely still use coupons for pull ups and certain snacks the kids can’t be tricked into thinking they are actually the name brand…they know a real Cheez-it from a store brand πŸ˜›

I use just a regular binder with tabbed sections according to what’s in the aisle at my particular store. I used to keep them in something similar to what you have but it would take me forever to go through the envelopes looking for a particular coupon I “thought” I had. And sometimes I forgot about coupons that were in there. Now I tape them to pages in the binder so I can see them up front. All I do is turn the pages and pull the coupon off if I need to use it. This works great for finding things that are on sale PLUS a coupon πŸ™‚
