Finding movies that are entertaining for the entire family can sometimes be difficult. I love watching wholesome, inspiring movies that have a message with Hayden. He is old enough to move out of just cartoons and into movies with actual people acting. We recently watched the movie “Million Dollar Arm,” and it was really great. “Million Dollar Arm,” was made by the same studio that created “Miracle” and “Remember the Titans.” “Million Dollar Arm,” is an inspiring movie about a the search for the next great major league baseball pitcher. It is now on Disney Blu-ray™, Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand.
Jon Hamm stars in “Million Dollar Arm” and I love him. I think he is a great actor and I had high expectations for him in this movie. Jon Hamm is the sports agent, JB Bernstein who is on the hunt trying to find a great pitcher. He goes to India to produce a reality show competition called “The Million Dollar Arm,” to find a young cricket pitcher that he can turn into a major league baseball star. He finds two young men that have a great arm, but have no idea about playing baseball. While the boys are trying to learn how to play baseball, they are also trying to figure out life in American. America is much different compared to their rural village in India.
My husband LOVES baseball. He lives for baseball. I would post a bunch of super cute pictures of him playing baseball growing up, but he would kill me. Hayden and I also really loved it. It taught about the true value of teamwork, commitment, and what it means to be a family.
“Million Dollar Arm” also has lots of exciting bonus features, including an alternate ending, deleted scenes, outtakes, the making-of featurettes “Training Camp,” “Their Story,” “Million Dollar Music by A. R. Rahman,” and more! I love outtakes, and so does Hayden. I would dare say that they might be his favorite part of any movie. I also find “the making-of featurettes” really interesting. It was fun watching all the actors learn the ins and outs of baseball.
“Million Dollar Arm” is the perfect movie to watch with your family. It is a true story with great values and a wonderful message. You can find “Million Dollar Arm” at Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

I love when movies include an alternate ending. That way I normally get the see the ending I was hoping for. I think my husband would really enjoy this movie.
