Halli is 16 months now and that girl is sooo busy. She runs around everywhere and climbs everything. She could also live outside. Her little heaven is playing outside and preferably being….naked. Especially after daddy gets home from work we play and play outside until it is time for bed. But it is almost September, and her days of running around in a diaper are quickly ending. Where we live the nights and early mornings are getting pretty cool. All of her winter clothes are too small, and there is no way that busy little thing will stay wrapped up in a blanket.
Cozey7 has come up with a brilliant invention for my busy outdoorsy girl called the TrailHopper. The TrailHopper is a super soft and warm wearable blanket. It slips on over clothes, jackets, coats, or snowsuits to provide a warm and cozey extra layer. It is made out of breathable Polartec® fleece– sourced in the USA.
It is a full length body suit that covers the legs, and can even cover toes with an easy flap to keep her little piggies warm and toasty. The blanket does not cover the arms though which I love because Halli is free to move and explore freely. It also helps so she won’t get too warm and over heat.
The TrailHopper slides on really easily and has a anti-jam zipper system. Every TrailHopper also comes with a super durable travel bag for easy storage or it can double as a snack bag! It rolls and then stuffs into the bag similar to a sleeping bag and closes tightly. It will be perfect to take on camping trips and to keep in the car when we are out and about this winter.
We really got to put it to the test one night when we went to grandpa’s house. The air was starting to get cooler and it was the perfect night for a little fire. The night we used it Halli had been wearing a little summer outfit and her little jelly sandals all day, but it was quickly getting chilly. I loved slipping the TrailHopper over her clothes and folding down the toe flaps to keep her little feet warm. She was still able to run around and play with her feet covered but I was at peace of mind that she wasn’t going to be cold.
I chose a size 18m-2years for her because she is really super tall and to also give her room to grow. It was pretty baggy over her light summer clothes but would fit perfectly over thicker winter clothes. My kids will get to experience SNOW for the first time this winter! The “snow” we super rarely had in Texas was gone by noon. It will be fun to play in actual white, powdery snow this winter. The TrailHopper will be the perfect solution to give her a warm extra layer that she can’t kick off in her stroller and when we are outside.
TrailHoppers are so soft, comfy, warm, and well made. I know Halli will love exploring in it all year long!
You can purchase a TrailHopper on Cozey.com for $65.00, but right now you can receive 20% off by using the special coupon code: Blog20. The coupon code will work from now through Sept 30.
