My 5 year old is the best at pretend play. He is always in what I like to call “Hayden imagination land.” I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with what game we are playing next. One minute we are train engineers, the next we are ninja’s, and then we are scientist inventing something amazing. His imagination is so fun, and I love watching him play.
Manhattan Toy Company has a new award winning imagine I CAN play kit line. We received two magnetic playsets called Character Mix-Up and Fashion Friends, and the Notes N’ Stuff kit. Hayden has been playing with them non-stop since we opened them up!
All of the kits come in darling little tins that have handles to make them easy to cart around and also easy to clean up. Hayden has lived outside since Spring finally arrived, and he loves taking his kits out with him. They would also be great to take in the car this summer for long road trips and vacations.
Character Mix-Up and Fashion Friends each come with 4 different scenes to create on. In the Character Mix-Up kit there is a space, beach, city, and medieval castle scene. Hayden loves making crazy combinations of characters to have adventures in each of the places.
You can customize your characters to have different heads, chests, legs and arms. It also comes with lots of fun extras like a rocket ship, flowers, hats, crabs, and more that help take Hayden’s imagination stories to a new level.
Fashion Friends has 2 cute little girls on each page that you can dress up in a bunch of fun outfits. The girls are at the mall, the beach, school, and a birthday party. They can be dressed in ball gowns, play clothes, Halloween costumes, pj’s, and more. You can customize what shoes they wear, glasses, hats, and just about every item of clothing you can imagine.
In both kits the magnets stick really well onto whatever scene they are placed. They don’t wiggle around or move unless Hayden wants them to.
Hayden loves to do is draw what he is imagining. The kit Notes N’ Stuff hasn’t left his side.
It comes with a darling wooden note book, a magnet zebra clip, a large monkey paper clip, an owl pencil topper, a cat and frog self-inking stamp, 6 colored pencils, and a pencil sharpener. It has everything Hayden could possibly want to draw pictures, and create fun stories. Everything fits really nicely in the tin kit and Hayden takes it with him just about everywhere.
These kits from Manhattan Toy Company are so fun! They are made for kids ages 3 and up, and I know they will help your kiddos imagine and create all sorts of fun things.
