Ack! We are in the last month. We’re talking days away from his birthday. I can’t believe the time has come. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking and now it’s time to start doing because this little cutie is turning one soon!
We finally decided on a theme. Remember when I just couldn’t decide on a birthday theme? Well, while I was busy finding more themes to make things more difficult it just hit me one day and it all became clear. I was standing in the hall talking on the phone with my husband and Sawyer was in his playard. All of a sudden Mickey Mouse came on and he threw himself to be able to see it. In that moment I snapped this photo and knew his theme.
His birthday is Mickey Mouse! Of course I’m all over looking for some fun ways to make this party the best I can. We are holding it at a local pizza place with our close family & friends so I’ll be limited to what I can do as far as decorating so I want what I do to stand out and be perfect!
I just stuck his birthday invitations in the mail. I got them all from Shutterfly and they are amazing as always. I was able to showcase one of my favorite photos on the front and and his monthly head shots on the back. Since he was only 10.5 months when I made these I didn’t have an 11th & 12 month pic. So I grabbed a birth one and then one of my more current ones and it worked.
I’m so excited to get into party planning mode even if I am dreading it. I can’t believe my baby will no longer be a baby. Of course he’ll always be my baby.

YAY!! I’m so glad Mickey Mouse won! I love him and so does my son. I can’t believe a year went by so fast!
