I’ve been so unmotivated lately. My house has been falling behind and I just couldn’t pull myself out of this funk I’ve been in. I know I’m preggers but I needed to do something even if this ‘exhaustion’ was excused. On a recent trip to Walmart I fell head over heals for the new fall decor in the Better Homes & Gardens line. While my table is set for four, I actually bought six settings since we’ll soon be a family of five and I like to keep things even.
I spent around $100 for what you see. I think I’m going to go back and get more for the centerpiece or grab a few things from other areas. I also want a tablecloth under it all. I’m between cream and the green the leaves place mat is.
This pic really doesn’t do it any justice. It totally makes the room.
I think it will ‘pop’ a bit more with a tablecloth. It mainly added up because everything was just under $3 each. It doesn’t sound bad for one thing but when you times it by 6 for each item it added up. It was worth it though. I have so many Halloween items but those can only go up in October. I’ll be able to display these from Sept. through Thanksgiving.
My favorite was the rustic metal pumpkin filled with potpourri. It made the room smell so good!

That does look very festive for Fall! I haven’t decorated yet. I usually do Halloween decorations for all of October and then put out the Fall stuff until Thanksgiving.

They are actually chargers. I LOVE them and what initially sold me on all the pieces. I just wish they designed plates that fit them. I even went over to the plate isle and found nothing.

They are separates but I loved how they looked when I paired them together versus using them individually. They make it don’t they?

Wow, looks beautiful! Almost straight out of a Martha Stewart magazine. I like it without a tablecloth but, then again, it’s not my decor. I’m going to start decorating for fall and autumn next week.
