Being a girl I love movies such as Tinker Bell & the Great Fairy Rescue but having two boys I often miss out on seeing them. When this movie was delivered I knew Gavin would watch it with me just because of his love of all things Disney. When Johnny saw the cover he immediately decided he was down for a family movie night. I was surprised my almost 10 year old son wanted to watch anything Tinker Bell but said he had seen the previews and it looked good.We sat down and it began. A great story of make believe and imagination…or is it that we’re just not paying attention to whats around us. Little Lizzy has a love of fairies and with her father’s love of nature she is always outside on great adventures searching out fairies! Tinker Bell and her fairy friends help nature and are always out and about too but know to keep their distance from humans….that is until Tinker Bell stumbles into the cutest little fairy house! Her fairy friend Vidia tries to teach Tink a lesson and slams the door shut on her not realizing Lizzy is just around the corner! When the door won’t open back up and discovers Tinker Bell inside she takes her home!
Doesn’t this movie look great? Don’t for a moment brush this movie off if you have boys. We loved this movie and my kids actually even watched it again the next day. Gavin was just fascinated with Lizzy walking on the ceiling! Gavin told us he wanted his own fairy dust so he could put foot prints on our ceilings! Johnny loves watching Lizzy & Tinker Bell make the journal and learning all the special details…and then of course questioning them all to me as if I wrote the movie lol! Its the perfect family friendly movie! A must for any Disney Collection!
