Cuisinart PowerEdge™ 700 Blender – Review & Chocolate Mint Milkshake Recipe

**Updated**
This blender stopped working shortly after receiving it. I don’t recommend purchasing it as $150 for a blender that breaks down almost immediately is not cool! It didn’t even last one summer 🙁
I have a love. That love belongs to Cuisinart. I’m obsessed with their small appliances. Not only do they line my counter tops but my pantry is filled with them as well! I own many of their products from their coffee machine, food processor, grill jr., toaster, bread maker, and more! Cusinart is not just a well known name in cooking but it’s a name I trust when cooking!
I was super excited to be able to review their PowerEdge™ 700 Blender!
There are so many options with blenders. They aren’t limited to just milkshakes and smoothies! Although they are the most fun making! I will be bringing you fun recipes in the future with this great blender so stay tuned!
Isn’t she a beauty?
The Cuisinart PowerEdge™ 700 Blender has Power6 Turbo-Edge blade design to crush ice, puree and mix with maximum efficiency. I’m wondering if there is anything this blender can’t do! As you can see it has minimum pieces making it simple to use.
I love that it’s all digital. I use to have one with those huge buttons and it was always difficult to clean. I love that with just a touch of a button you have what you need. If you need just a few extra pulses just tap that button too. It blinks when it is ready too!
This blender has many great features.
Features:
700 Watts of blending power
Power6 Turbo-Edge design enhances vortex performance
Pre-programmed Smoothie & Ice Crush functions
Die-cast metal housing with backlit functions
Backlit Count-Up™ Timer with beep after 3 minutes of blending time
Standby mode
56-oz. glass easy-pour blender jar
Limited 3-year warranty
The 56-oz. glass easy-pour blender jar is a really nice quality thick glass jar. I love that it has the stand base making it easy to bring right to the table or outside. The stainless bottom still gives it a nice stylish look!
Our favorite recipe these days has been the Chocolate Mint Milkshake off the Cooks.com website. We love it and it’s simple to make!

Chocolate Mint Milkshake
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1 drop peppermint extract

Combine all ingredients in your Cuisinart PowerEdge™ 700 Blender and push smoothie. We have been doubling this recipe and it does need a few extra pushes on “pulse”. They come out so creamy!

We ran out of the chocolate syrup after making them this time I took the pic but normally I drizzle the sides of the glass too! The kids get such a kick out of it! I want to get fancy milkshake glasses now! I plan on sharing many milkshake & smoothie recipes as well as others so make sure to stay tuned!
You can purchase the PowerEdge™ 700 Blender by Cuisinart for $149.00 directly from their website. You can also purchase it at Bed Bath & Beyond or your favorite home store!
