K’NEX – Imagine, Build, Play – Review!

K’NEX building kits offer children hours and hours of creative play. They let kids build and play and use their imagination. THey can go by the directions and build as directed or free play and get creative! What’s so great about K’NEX? They have kits for all different ages groups in all different skill levels.

K’Nex has kits designed to build moving vechile, spinning ferris wheels, or even a cute critter! There are endless possibilities and it allows kids to see all that they are capable of. I know when my children are done building they are so proud of their accomplishments.

Any toy that makes the boys want to turn off the television and get thinking all while being fun is my kind of toy. Johnny was already an extreme fan of K’nex building kits so when these came in the door thanks to Team Mom he was beyond thrilled. Gavin hasn’t yet owned any so this was all new to him.
Gavin built the Neighborhood Brownstone Collection 123 and had so much fun putting it together. While it is aged at 2-5 years old and he is 3.5 years old he did need assistance getting the windows in good. He absolutely loves that Elmo and Cookie Monster came as buildable characters.
Johnny had the 400 Piece Value Tub. These tubs are great because they can build multiple projects with the same kit and the kit only costs $21.99. Like I said we are already huge fans of K.nex in our home. Johnny has almost all the Amusement Park sets built in his room. He can has taken them a part and even rebuilt them.
What’s great are K’nex have never ending possibilities that allow children to use their imagination and attention to detail skills. You can purchase multiple kits and have even more possibilities. Store them together or store them apart easily. We personally have a big bin they go in when not in use. We store all the directions for building on top.

Make sure to make K’nex a part of your Christmas shopping this year!
