Day & Night ® Flat Screen Color Video Monitor
I had the opportunity to review Summer Infant’s Day&Night® Flat Screen Color Video Monitor! I was super excited about this product right from the start! I thought it was going to be much more complicated to set up then an average baby monitor. When it arrived it was nicely packaged as you see it in the picture below. One thing I hadn’t realized until reading the directions was that this monitor could be mounted if chosen. This is a great a great option especially if you’d like it under your kitchen or craft room cabinets! You can even mount it to the wall! We chose to stand the monitor screen on its base so the set up took only minutes! The monitor has buttons so you can adjust the lighting, volume, etc. The Baby’s Unit is the same size as any other monitor and we placed ours up on the dresser. I love that I can actually set it up to view the entire room and see it well. I can also point it only on his bed and have a great up close view as well. Since the neck on the camera can be adjusted it was easy to place up higher viewing the whole room. It can be angled so it you can decide exactly where you want to view from.
The cameras clarity is exceptional either way I tried it (upclose or full room) it had the ability to show me what was going on with both the lights on and off as well. The night vision is in black and white like always. The sound was great. If you want it has the ability to let you hear every breath your child makes. I know when Gavin was younger that always comforted me at night. The top of the monitor also has LED lights that light up if there is noise in the room too!
I absolutely {love} this monitor! I wish I had the Day&Night® Flat Screen Color Video Monitor much sooner as it is so simple and works so nicely! The screen is so big that I can quickly glance at it and know exactly what is going on in his room. I love that it runs off an a/c adapter so I don’t need to worry about the use of batteries!
