There is just something about Disney movies that at my age still gets me excited! I don’t care if its a new movie or a classic! I love the fairy tales and the imagination behind these stories and most importantly I love sharing them with my boys. I was recently asked by the One 2 One Network if I wanted to review a copy of the newly released copy of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs – Diamond Edition – DVD & Blu-Ray Combo and of course I said YES! I don’t own a blu-ray yet but loved the fact that this came with both so that I could test one out from a friend or family before taking the leap. I haven’t had a chance to do so yet but I promise you this edition of the DVD is the best yet!

While the story remains the same the picture & sound are much clearer! There is a great Mirror, Mirror game, Dopey’s Wild Mine Game, and many more! I love that this pack included both a DVD and a blu-ray so that if blu-ray is the next step in home theatre we can upgrade our systems without having to purchase our movies over again! I’ve truthfully never seen a blu-ray disk before and I still don’t see the difference as the disks they are on are almost the same.

While this “princess” movie is known as a girls movie I can tell you that both my boys have both enjoyed watching this DVD multiple times already. They especially love the seven dwarfs and singing along with them. Its also another way to tell your kids on the importance on why you should never accept any food or candy from people you don’t know.
