MobiCam®AV- The Wireless Video/Audio Baby Monitoring System! Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

I’m sure you’ve heard of MOBI Technologies before- they make those really cool TykeLight® GloMate™ you see all over blog world…but did you know they make other great products as well? Just in case you don’t know what the TykeLight® GloMate™ is, it’s actually a really great concept brought to life! Its a color changing portable night light that goes to bed with your child so they can keep the light close to them! See…told you it was a great idea!

They also make a really great Audio/Video Monitoring System called the MobiCam AV. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to review this great item! Now, I know what you’re thinking. I have a toddler no baby-what would I possibly need this monitor for? Well, I didn’t need it until I had one. I can’t imagine going back to my old one. This baby monitor works in both the light and the darkness making it completely multi-purpose. It also lets me have the ability to watch up close or from far away. So, if I want to watch my little one sleep just aim it for just the bed, if I want to see if he and his brother can get along if I leave the room for 2 minutes I can set to watch the whole room and take it with me. Yeah, take it with me! You can either run it on its cord so you don’t even have to worry about batteries or you can throw a few AA batteries in it and take it with you. This is really handy since my laundry room is on the second floor with the bedrooms and the living room is not.
I really like that I can see what is going on during the day with the lights on but if the power goes out or if my little one gets up in the middle of the night I can still see whats going on without going in there. This is great for when your child is still a baby because you know there are times where they are capable of putting themselves back to sleep but if they see you they aren’t going to do it. Now you can watch from your room and step in once you feel its necessary. The only thing I don’t like which really has nothing to do with the monitor is is the “dark” mode people have no eyes and that’s so creepy to me LOL!

Want to know what I find to be the coolest feature ever?!?! If you purchase the MobiCam AV and work away home or maybe you work nights and just want to be able to peek in on your precious little one at anytime make sure to also invest in the MobiCam AV Internet Kit for just an additional $74.99. How cool is that?! I can think of so many great reasons this would make so many things easier. If your a daycare owner and you don’t want to invest in a high priced camera set up but the director wants to keep an eye on a certain classroom or maybe a new teacher they can just peek online and see whats going on even if they aren’t in the building! A mom who has to go back to work but can’t possibly comprehend having to leave her newborn with a stranger can request the room her child is in to always be in the camera view!
Not only would this Internet Monitoring Kit give you access on your laptop, but if your phone is PC Browser or Windows Media enabled you can check in from your cell phone too!
