Who are you? I am Miranda. I’m a stay at home mom, even though my child is school age now. Gives me more time to be creative. I run a couple etsy shops. One for scrapbooking and one for bath and body products. Scrapbooking is my first passion. I love working with papers, the patterns and colors, seeing what works together. I love being able to tell a story in a non traditional way. Secondly I dabble a bit in bath products. I love creating and coming up with a new bath item and knowing exactly what’s in it and what I’m putting on my skin.

What made you decide to open up shop?
I opened MyOtherPrincess because I was putting a lot of money into buying soap and bath & body items on etsy. So I decided to try my hand at it and see what I could come up with. One thing led to another and cupcake bath bombs started taking over my house!

How did you decide on your shop name?
Well, my scrapbook shop is PaperPrincess34 and I wanted Princess to some how tie in with the new shop. So after several brainstorms and google searches (to make sure someone else wasn’t using the name) I came up with MyOtherPrincess.

What is your favorite item in your shop and why?Ooooh why do I have to pick? I like each of my items for different reasons. I can’t limit it to just a cupcake, even though they are adorably cute and look good enough to eat, because sometimes I want the silky smooth skin that my sugar scrubs provide. And then other times, I just want to lay back and relax with the bath salts! I can’t pick just one. But a scent on the other hand, I LOVE Orange Creamsickle!

What are some of your favorite stores from other sellers on Etsy?
Oooh another great question. Well as I said, nothing makes me happier than receiving soap in the mail, and even though I can make it, I still like the thrill. I’m a huge fan of CozyMoments. Her scents are sooooooo yummy! Then if I’m hungry (and this is a new discovery, though I’ve known about her shop for sometime now) DoubleDippedSweets. I’m getting ready to place another order… I really could go on and on about my favorite etsy shops. There are sooooo many creative members here!

What an amazing shop full of so many scentfully delightful and yummy items. I had to save the shop in my favs. on Etsy befire I even began looking at everything. I knew by the interview and pictures here, that I wanted it in my favs. before I even went there.
I honestly can’t say that there is just one item that’s a fav. I like every single thing and would love to try them all. This is my kind of shop!
