Don’t Forget the Batteries Needed this Christmas Season! #PowerTheHolidays

I remember the Christmas about 5 years back when we finally decided we were going to get the boys a Wii. The Wii had been out for less than a year and the boys were just begging for one from the moment it came out. We were so excited that we had been able to get our hands on one and waited for Christmas to come. Then the day came and we woke up to no power. We couldn’t believe it. There was nothing we could do. The boys opened all their presents but not being able to set it up right away was so disappointing to them. When we came home from a long day with family we returned to a house with power. When the boys saw that the remotes required batteries they thought they once again weren’t going to play with their big present of the year but luckily, mom and dad were prepares and had a full stock of batteries on hand!

Don't Forget the Batteries

As parents we do everything we can to make sure Christmas morning is special. We all know what is most important isn’t under the tree but around it we still want to be able to spoil on children on this one day. Seeing all the cheers of happiness and excitement is rather thrilling as a parent and knowing you (or Santa!) were able to get that one toy they wanted so badly is actually pretty satisfying. Watching that happiness quickly turn to disappointment over something like 2 AA batteries can change everything.

Why Duracell Batteries?

Duracell CopperTop All-Purpose alkaline batteries are not only dependable, they’re also long-lasting. You can take comfort in a 10-year guarantee in storage with Duralock Power Preserve Technology. They’re great for many of the devices you use on a daily basis in your home. And from storm season to medical needs to the holidays, Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand of first responders, pharmacists and parents, so you know it’s a battery you can trust. CopperTop batteries are available in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V.

Duracell Batteries

Here we keep a full stock of batteries in all sizes year round but in December is when we do our big stock up making sure we have a good supply of every size. We try to keep the bigger packs like the Duracell Coppertop AA Batteries in a Doublewide pack around so we don’t run out but if we’re giving a gift we know needs batteries we give Duracell 4 packs that can easily be taped to the back of the packaging and wrapped up nicely. For more information on Duracell Batteries you can also follow them on Twitter and Facebook.

Have you stocked up on batteries yet this season?
