Ever since we lost our home to the fire I have given up on my love for candles. I love the look, the smell, the feel it gives the room. However, my fear of the flame over took all of that and away went the candles. Since I loved them people feel the need to constantly gift them to me. I wonder why I keep getting them when they just end up in a closet. Then I discovered LED Candles. I could have the look, the feel, all of it back again. Or so I thought. Since I discovered LED Candles I have invested in quite a few. The problem? The size availability is limited. They don’t smell.
Then over the holidays I was blog hopping and saw a review on Enjoy Lighting. It was on a 4×8 LED pillar. The largest I had seen at that point was only a width of three inches. The blogger had also stated that they were scented. I had to find out for myself and emailed the company immediately.
When my candles arrived for review I was impressed before I even took them out of the packaging as they looked like real candles. When I took them out I immediately smelt their individual scents. I had never seen an LED candle that carried a scent. The tops weren’t level which make them look like they naturally burned down.
The insides actually three lights instead of the usual one. This allows them to flicker even more like a real candle then normal. The lights are always on but one is brighter at different times. The lights are also deeper down then most. The scent isn’t powerful and I like that when you bring it up to smell you can smell the great scent while also feeling the wax just like any real candle.
Under the candle is where the batteries you go. It takes 4 AA batteries which is more then the other candles I own. It also has timer options. More options then any other. The others I have do have the timer option but there is only one option. Enjoy Lighting candles have three options. They are 4, 6, and 8 hour options.
I love how this candle looks when lit. I couldn’t get a sharper picture because when I had the flash it wouldn’t show you the glow. You can see how it looks like a regular candle. Even the tops of the candles have a natural glow where the wax is thinner.
I love the look of this fireplace filled with candles. When we rebuilt after the fire we replaced our fireplace. I refuse to light a fire in it so it looks new and weird. It sounds funny but a fireplace that has never had a fire in it looks odd in a room. The idea of filling it with candles that actually smell and flicker every night sounds wonderful.
