My husband and I were each sent a kit to start whitening. Included in each kit were detailed instructions, putty and trays to make our molds, and desensitizing and teeth whitening gel. I was super impressed with how easy the instructions were easy to follow. The were well written and super detailed. I also loved that there were pictures for each step of making our molds! It is one thing to read it, but it was so helpful to actually SEE what we’re supposed to do.
The putty was easy to put together and in my mouth it felt JUST like the dentist putty. Thankfully Smile Brilliant puts in 3 sets of impression putty material incase we made mistake. My husband and I both needed the extra material. After we made our impressions we filled out a return card, and put it in the pre-paid envelope that came in our kits. Within 5 days of sending our trays we were each notified that they had received our molds.
About a week later our trays were in the mail and on the way to us. When we received them both my husband and I were so impressed with how well they fit! They fit absolutely perfect and are so comfortable. The trays fit nice and snug so we can still talk, and the trays do not slip or move around.
There were also detailed instructions with pictures of how to begin whitening our teeth. Trays may be worn anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hours. Smile Brilliant’s whitening gel is made of an extra sticky formula so it will evenly distribute and adhere to teeth. It is specially formulated with the highest quality standards.
Learning how to whiten that worked best for both of us took a little bit of trial and error. My husband could whiten no problem because he had no sensitivity and no issues. My teeth were much more sensitive. I have used other white strips and whitening products in the past with no problem, but my teeth were dying with the Smile Brilliant gel. The whitening gel is no joke, it is the real stuff just like a dentist would use. Thankfully Smile Brilliant has desensitizing gel that eliminates tooth sensitivity by temporarily sealing tubules on the surface of the tooth. I would wear the desensitizing gel for about 15 minutes and then wash it off. I could whiten again after with no problem! After a few days of whitening my teeth were fine and I didn’t even need the desensitizing gel.
The whitening gel is super powerful! If my husband or I ever got too much and didn’t wipe it off fast enough it would leave our gums tingling. We both quickly learned how to whiten and we received amazing results. It really is dentist quality whitening. Because the trays fit so perfectly I was able to whiten whenever I wanted to! I could put the trays in and still talk to my kids and do things around the house. They never fell out or slipped around.
My husbands teeth were especially yellowed, and after even the first treatment of whitening his teeth were whiter. At the end of our treatments his teeth are so white! He loves the results, and has said he is much more confident of his smile.
My teeth were not as discolored as his were but now my teeth are definitely whiter and brighter.
Smile Brilliant also sells the desensitizing and whitening gel separately. If we ever feel like our teeth are starting to yellow we can just purchase more gel. Our custom made trays are such high quality I know that they will last us a really long time. I also cannot say enough about Smile Brilliant’s customer service. They are so quick to answer questions and are very knowledgable. When I had asked a question about my sensitive teeth and how I could make the process easier it was suggested I also do the desensitizing gel after I whitened to seal my teeth. Wow those before and after pictures are amazing, I need to perhaps give this product a try, I stopped drinking so much hot tea because I noticed my teeth didn’t look as white as they used to be.
