This week’s great Featured Friday Artist is Balanced.
I met Balanced in the Etsy Chat Rooms. I usually go in there in the mornings while I enjoy my cup of Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla Coffee!
I love her work. I wish I had known of her shop before I went to Naples back in November for our friends’ wedding because I had such a hard time finding jewelry to match my dress. I could pick so many things like the first 2 earring shown in the pictures below.
Maybe I could get them anyways hee, hee!

My name is Rachel. I’m originally from Northern California, but currently living in Dublin, Ireland with my wonderful Irish husband and our baby Ginger, the cat.

How long have you been selling on Etsy?
How long have you been selling on Etsy?I signed up on Etsy in March 2008, but didn’t start listing until November, I think, of 2008. I was on another online marketplace, but eventually realized that Etsy was a better fit for me.

What made you decide to open up shop?A lot of encouragement from family and friends. I’ve always dreamed of being able to work from home and to do that off of my crafts would be even better. I’m very fortunate that I have that opportunity now. And I was quickly running out of room to store all the things I made. π

What is your favorite item in your shop and why?Oh dear. I love and am proud of every single thing I make to sell, or I wouldn’t put it out into the world. I’m very sensitive, haha. I do, however, have a special fondness for the bead woven pieces as there is more time put into them.
