Carolina Pad – Great Holiday Gift Sets – Review & Giveaway! {Ended}

I’m new to Carolina Pad but not new to stationary. I love paper and all things paper. I have an entire room dedicated to scrapbooking and up until recently (when this blog decided to consume all spare time) ran a couture wedding paper store. To stay in the loop of couture high priced stationary and wedding items I had to check out what my competition was.
To tell you that I would give up all my stationary products if you would make them Carolina Pad products is a HUGE statement…but also a true one!
Better yet their prices are not couture prices. They are a little higher then your basic notebook but no where near what I’ve seen comparable ranked items with such great detail and premium selections!

I received several of their products for review. When they first emailed me asking to review their items I agreed. Not because I thought they carried anything special but because I can never get enough stationary. I love writing. I waste paper often making to do list, checklists, etc.

When the box of stationary arrived I was impressed with just the first item I took out and continued to be impressed with each piece. Carolina Pad products are a step above any stationary items I’ve seen. Its a shame that you can feel and touch their products because the internet just does not do this company any justice as their products in my opinion are all top of the line. They think of every thing and pay attention to every detail.

I received several of their products for review. Several of the items came from the Prints Charming “Save Me From Clutter” Gift Pack. This set is available in three separate colors: pink, blue, and yellow. I told you how I was impressed from the start well that’s because the first item I took out was their Flip Notes Pad with Pen. I’ll be the first one to tell you I hate animal print/skin anything yet this mini notepad that has a snake skin like cover (could be something else since I’m not familiar to these prints) is so stylish and inside is a nice silver slim pen with a mini pad of 100 sheets of pink unlined paper.
I also got the 7 Pocket Hanging File in the matching print. I use these type of expandable file folders at work all the time and wish they could be half as cute as these. My favorite feature is how they are secured at both the top AND bottom of the folders. Often folders are secured at just the bottom making them awkward to keep closed when they start to fill. There is no cover flap and all the insides are all clear plastic. They also come with color coded tabs. I wish the tabs were colors that matched it though since they put so much effort into such a stunning piece it seems odd to put yellow, tan, and blue tabs in it.
My favorite feature on this is it has optional sliding cabinet hooks. If you need to hang it slide out the hooks, want to take it with you slide them back in!

I also received 2 of their Executive Series Notebooks. They are beautiful as far as notebooks go! The nicest ones I’ve probably scene before!

The first one is part of their “Scrolling Along” collection.
The cover of this notebook is stunning in itself! I have the plum colored one and it has a velour type feel to it with a scroll pattern throughout. The back matches but doesn’t have the soft feel to it. I love just rubbing my hand over this notebook! The pages inside are my favorite as each page has a huge scroll pattern faded into the background that covers half the page.

The second executive series notebook I received was the pink one from the “Prints Charming” collection. The cover is so pretty and elegant. It has a shine to it that shows off an un-shined print in the pink and polka dots in the brown. I absolutely love pink and brown together! They were my wedding colors even! I would have loved to have this notebook in my wedding organizer binder to go with my stuff. When you open the notebook you think its going to be another plain notebook. Not a chance! These pages have a lovely printed border that matches the cover that goes down the side.

The Executive Series Notebooks all have strong high quality covers that make them durable. They have perforated pages for easy tear out. They also have a strong double snag resistant coil. There’s 100 pieces of premium paper in each one as well. The back covers all coordinate with their covers as well for a nice finished touch.
