As soon as I saw the preview for the new Disney Cinderella movie I was counting down the days until I could see it in theaters. I was more excited to see it than my kids were. When it finally came out I took myself on a “Me date” to go see it. I got all my favorite snacks and then watched a showing of Cinderella late at night all by myself. It was glorious! I loved the “me time” and I loved the entire movie! I walked out of the theater counting down the days again, and waiting for it to come out on Blu-ray and DVD.
Cinderella is such a classic story that I think every kid grew up with. This new Disney’s “Cinderella” is absolutely beautiful and so magical. I love that the movie dives more into how Ella grew up. It shows Ella’s sweet mother teaching her the importance to “have courage and be kind.”

Disney’s Cinderella is such a wonderful movie and perfect for the whole family. I watched it with my 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter, and they both loved it. Ella’s step sisters are hilarious to watch and the acting by everyone is so great. Cate Blanchett plays Ella’s stepmother exactly how I imagined she would in real life.
My kid’s favorite part was of course the scenes with the Fairy Godmother. It really is so magical and amazing to watch. They both giggled as mice turned into horses, and a pumpkin turned into a beautiful coach.
My daughter was in awe of Cinderella’s beautiful blue dress for the royal ball, and she loved Ella’s glass slippers. It is an absolutely gorgeous dress!
The “Cinderella” combo pack also contains over 12 Minutes of additional scenes, including an alternate opening. My kids second favorite part of the movie Cinderella is the extra theatrical short included called “Frozen Fever.” Poor Elsa has caught a cold and it is messing up all her plans to throw Anna a very special birthday.

It is so magical watching Cinderella reunite with her prince and her lost glass slipper. More importantly I love that it teaches the message of kindness and courage. I really hope that my kids can always remember how important those two qualities are.
