I love making homemade gifts for the people I love. One of my favorite things to make for gifts is artwork. I am a sucker for artwork to hang in my house. I especially like to switch out seasonal artwork. My little sister and her fiancé just bought their first house. They are both young and in love, and I am so happy for them to start their lives together. I decided to make a Spring Subway art and then frame it so they could have a little something to start decorating their apartment.
Epson has amazing printers, and I was so excited to put the Epson Expression Premium XP-820 Small-in-One printer to the test. The XP-820 has such a sleek design and fits perfect on our computer desk. It also has a really amazing touch panel. The touch panel is a 4.3inch color touchscreen and it makes navigating the XP-820 ridiculously easy to use. With the convenient built in USB and memory card slots you can preview, edit, and print photos straight from your printer!
The Expression Premium XP-820 can also connect wirelessly! This is huge for me. I work from my laptop all over the house. I love that no matter where I am in my home, my laptop is wirelessly connected to my XP-820 printer and I can easily print. To set up the wi-fi and connect it to my printer was really easy and simple. It only took a few steps and I was ready to go. Multiple users can also be connected to the printer which makes it convenient for everyone.
Another amazing feature of my XP-820 printer is that it can connect to my phone for mobile printing! With the Epson Connect suite app I am able to print from almost any device! I take sooo many pictures of my kids from my phone and it is so nice that I can immediately make them picture form. I can also print documents, emails and web pages. I am a student right now and it has been really helpful to print out emails my teacher has sent me straight from my phone. I am also able to scan from my phone and save documents or photos to an online storage account.
I have been using the Epson Expression Premium XP-820 for a while now. I have printed documents, emails, and a ton of photos. All the photos I have printed are amazing! They are lab quality and cordless. You can print 4″x6″, 5″x7″, 8″x10″ and 8.5″x11″ photos straight from your printer! Photos also print really quickly. 4″x6″ photos print in 12 seconds! My pictures come out with amazing color, crisp, and aren’t grainy at all.
All of the documents I have printed are really great too. The colors are always vivid, and the text is clear. Printing double-sided is really fast and no drying is required. I have printed excel charts, calendars, and other graphics and they all look really great. The XP-820 also makes it so easy to scan and copy. My sister and I scanned all her and her fiancés kid pictures for one of their wedding videos and the scanned photos look so great!
This is such a great printer and has so many great features. The subway art I made my sister came out perfect! It looks like professional quality and I can’t wait to give it to my sister to make her apartment a little more spring-y.

Scanning looks really easy. I need this feature for so many things. I would like to eliminate paper receipts and scan in anything that I do get on paper, recycle the paper and be less cluttered at home.

Like everyone else, I too love the mobile printing feature! I work a lot via tablet or phone, and if I’m working on my laptop I’m usually nowhere near my desk. Being able to print a paper for school or a photo without having to fuss with cables or get up and go to my desk makes everything easier!

My absolute favorite thing about the Epson Expression Premium XP-620 Printer is being able to do everything from my phone with the app. The printer I have now isn’t wireless and my computer died on me 6 months ago so I’m unable to use it. I too use the printer and scanner a lot for crafty projects and I have so many things I’ve been dying to print saved on my phone, just incase I’ll actually be able to print them one of these day, lol.

I love seperate ink cartridges for each color of ink. I used to HATE it when I had to change ink cartridges because I ran out of, say, red, even though I still had plenty of blue and yellow in the “color” cartidge.
