Muppets Most Wanted now available on Blu-ray Combo Pack and Digital HD

My family has a favorite activity that we like to call a PPP, which stands for a “Pizza Picnic Party.”  Hayden loves to have a PPP.  He gets so excited when I tell him it’s a PPP weekend.  We choose a movie, lay out a blanket, and have a picnic with pizza.  I was so excited for the sequel “Muppets Most Wanted” to come out on Blu-ray and DVD because I knew it would be the perfect movie for one of our families PPP’s.

“Muppets Most Wanted” picks up immediately following the events of the smash hit “The Muppets.”  There are three hilarious guest stars including Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey.

 The Muppet gang heads out on a world tour but of course mayhem follows them where ever they go!  The Muppets find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine – the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog!

As Constantine and his dastardly sidekick Dominic (Ricky Gervais) plot the robbery of the century, they are pursued by Sam Eagle and Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell).  Will Constantine get away with his dastardly plan? Will Kermit save the day?  There are a bunch of guest cameos, and new songs.  There is also a “Unnecessarily Extended Edition” that features 12 minutes of exclusive scenes not seen in theaters!  Some other additional hilarious bonus features include Statler and Waldorf’s version of the movie, and the laugh-out-loud gag reel, “The Longer, Longest Blooper Reel in Muppets History.”

I have such great memories of watching the muppets and now I love that I can enjoy them with my kids.  They are so cute and entertaining for both kids and adults.  Halli is usually in bed by the time we are watching the movie, but we let her watch this one with us.  She loved the music and was dancing all over our family room.
