I love Florida. Half my family lives in the Daytona area and I’ve always dreamed of living there. Then a few years back our friends got married on the Gulf Coast and we had the pleasure of attending. It was warm, beautiful, and it was just everything I wanted and so much more. I fell in love with the area instantly.
One place I haven’t been to yet is Gulf Coast Florida just a bit north from where we regularly stay. I love knowing how pet friendly they are too since we’ve been debating on if we should bring Cahrlie on our next trip down! Beaches in GCFL are consistently ranked in the top ten US beaches to bring your pets on vacation. Leashed pets are welcome on the beach at all times and most rental homes will throw out the red carpet for our furry friends!
They don’t have high-rises or busy highways and never will. They have white-sand beaches facing westward into spectacular sunsets – on the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph Bay. They have beckoning bayous, unexpected wildlife encounters and the mysterious Dead Lakes. They’ve got seaside bike trails, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling. They even have genuine places, like the historic Indian Pass Raw Bar and flavors like Tupelo Honey. Learn more about this “no worry, no hurry” destination at http://www.visitgulf.com
Sounds like the perfect place to bring your family to unwind and enjoy what is truly important! A place where spotty Wi-Fi truly lets you unplug and connect with the most important thing – your family.
One of the first things that I know my boys would want to do is visit the local piers. As you know Gulf County boasts 43 miles of natural shoreline so you know they are going to have some amazing piers for you to visit. I love piers because they are great places for me to pull out my camera and take photos of not just my family but the amazing views all around.

I wish we had extra time to make a stop in that area when we visit Florida this summer. We’ll be splitting our time between Orlando and Marco Island.
