I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz lately about Angelina Jolie’s newest movie but I hadn’t seen the trailer! Wow, take a second and watch this amazing officially released trailer on Disney’s Maleficent! I can’t wait to take my older boys to see it as I know they will love this twist off an old classic of Sleeping Beauty.
“Maleficent” explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

this trailer looks so good!! I love Disney movies.
I’m not a huge Jolie fan but I really want to see this one because through history they have never really given much insight into Maleficent.
This movie looks amazing, and the trailer is definitely intriguing. I will absolutely be watching this movie in the theater!

I am not really into this type of movie, but I think Jolie will do a great job playing her. I feel like she will really go all in with this one based on what I have seen. 🙂
I am still very torn about whether to see this movie or not. I love Maleficent. She is my FAVORITE villain, and has been since the first time I saw Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. However. I cannot stand Angelina Jolie.

It looks very interesting. I love Disney movies, and it’s fun to see how additional info and back stories are added to give more depth to some of the supporting roles from the original movies.
