Ugh. If you know me well you know how much I don’t like being sick. Reality is I don’t really get sick- I get sinus infections. My senior year of high school I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and then I broke my nose in a cheerleading accident. It was a lot of trauma on my face in a very short time frame and my Dr. told me my sinuses were really affected by it all.
Since then I have been suffering from sinus infections regularly. They are horrible. From the moment they start til the moment they leave I’m just miserable. Sudafed understands that horrible suffering we go through and to make it a bit more bearable they have come up with the OPEN UP™ App on Facebook! By participating in the fun you could even win $5,000!!!
I went and tried out the Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ App on Facebook and gave it a try. In my photo I first chose the balloon because I swear I feel like my head is always moments away from feeling like it’s going to explode. Then I put the clown face over it because my nose gets big and red and irritated and I wish I could hide behind a mask. The mallet because I feel like someone is pounding on my head and the bucket loader to come take me away and put me out of my misery. Of course many boxes of tissues because we all know one box won’t even get you through the first day.
Do you often feel the same way?
I was happy that at the end, not only was I entered to win $5K, but I also got a coupons for my next purchases. I’m definitely going to stock up. I need to fly soon and have you ever flown with a sinus infection? Take my photo above and then stick a million needles in your head as you come down to land. It’s horribly painful.
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to OPEN UP. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.
