I know the first thing you think of when I say Christmas is Mango, right? Okay, I admit that it’s not on mine either. Not even on the radar. However, after tomorrow you’ll reconsider and change your line of thinking and walk out with maybe a recipe or two that you can share during the holidays even. You might even learn a few tips to make the whole process easier. Like did you know that you should cut a mango like you do your avocado? I certainly didn’t! I want to go out and buy a mango just to try this! Okay, and maybe that photo of the perfectly ripened, juicy mango looks really good too.
I’ve never actually mixed a mango into anything more then fruit salad but after checking out some of the awesome recipes featured on Mango.org I realized there are a lot of (yummy!) reasons to start using them a lot more and in more ways!
The Motherhood is excited to join The National Mango Board for a holiday Twitter party to discuss mango pairings and new ways to incorporate mangos into traditional holiday dishes.
