I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, a gift code to giveaway, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I’ve already shared with you about this great contest Welch’s is currently promoting but I wanted to give you one last reminder in case you haven’t entered. The grand prize is $5000 which could help create 5000 more special moments.
Welch’s has launched the Share Your Moments photo contest! From 9/16 to 10/25 upload a photo of your favorite family moment for a chance to win $5,000! While there is only one grand prize, everyone who enters will get a $1.50 coupon for Welchs 100% Grape Juice or $2.00 if you share the news. Visit Sharewhatsgood.com to enter.
As you know I’ve been on quite the weight loss journey. Lately I’ve been walking more and running less which mean’s I’m slowing down. This also means my headphones have come off and usually I’m able to talk to whomever is with me. Since I won’t walk any less than an hour this is a great time to connect to those close to me. Last weekend my mom called and asked if I was interested in walking a new route and I took her up on it. It was a local water reservoir that I’ve never been to before. From start to finish it is 4.1o miles. I haven’t seen too much of my mom lately and it was really nice to get away from all the daily distractions and get an hour to not only workout but touch base with my mom.

congrats on your amazing work out journey and your new layout looks fabulous.. haven’t left a comment on your blog in a while so I was just checking in !:)
I too need to take the time to slow down and walk.
I give you so much credit with your weight loss journey. I too have been trying to loose weight, but I’m limited in being able to walk, because of arthritis. I wish you continued progress.
Looks like a fun contest! and who doesn’t love their grape juice? 🙂
What a wonderful opportunity to get in your daily exercise AND to re-connect with your mom! More people need to slow down like you did and reach out to family and friends while staying active; regardless of whether it’s running or walking, it’s still exercise 🙂
Exercise combined with social connection is a really good thing. I used to walk at the park with my mom when she was able to.
It looks like a wonderful place to walk and share.
I go walking almost every day as it is just my time and I enjoy it. I love those photos that you shared!
Wow, that is a gorgeous place… thank you for sharing!!
Great way to capture your journey in photos, where you’ve been!
