If your a busy mom raise your hand… *raises both hands. Hi, I’m Megan and I live in the land of one shaved leg. I think you may have seen me but we avoided eye contact out of embarrassment that we both had lived there too long. I’m going to be honest here ladies, since having my second baby my personal hygiene is well…scary. I wait for the perfect time for Hayden to be deep in play with something or when he is super into a movie, Halli has just gone down for a nap, and finally I can shower. I feel pretty proud of myself since its before noon and I hop into the shower for a quick few minutes of “me time.” Without fail, almost every time I get in the shower 2 minutes later someone is hungry, Hayden can’t unbutton his shorts to go potty, Legos are stuck together that apparently need to be apart immediately before the world explodes, or Halli has woken up from a 5 min cat nap and she is NOT happy about it. So I rinse off with super speed, (I have even hop out of the shower unrinsed sometimes) to remedy whatever the problem may be. A relaxing, long shower hasn’t happened in a long time. But it’s Summer now! Shorts, skirts, swim suit(shudder), and it is hot hot hot outside, my legs need to be shaved! There is something special about having nice smooth legs too. I’ve been trying harder to make it a priority. Having soft smooth legs makes me feel like a woman again!
