I’m so glad that winter is behind us. I’m so sick of being cold and lock in doors. I’m so happy to finally be able to crack open the windows and start cleaning. I know that sounds crazy but in the spring I always get that urge to purge and it’s great! I always start with the closets in the house and toss out lots of expired items. I do this through my kitchen and and my bathrooms. I also take this time to box up things that are still good but of no use to us to donate and then I clean out and wipe all the shelving down before reorganizing it all and putting it all back in.
Once I’m done with the closets I head to the bedrooms. I weed through our clothing and remove anything we’ve outgrown, ruined, or just don’t want anymore. We consign here so sometimes we make a bigger mess before we clean. We move on to toys and furniture. Dust it all down and wipe things clean.
