Don’t these look good? These are the Veggie Tortilla Chips in the Zesty Cheddar flavor. These chips were the first ones I tried and when I served them at lunch over the weekend I didn’t place them on the table in the bag but in a bowl so the kids would jump in eating them thinking they were a different chip. Sure enough my boys dug right in and devoured them. How could they not they were delicious.
I’ve also been eating some Sweet Potato Chips in the Sea Salt variety. At first I will admit these weren’t my top choice and the idea of eating them didn’t interest me or my family. My husband decided to be the guinea pig and went for it. When he tried taking off with the entire bag I knew they’d be good and sure enough they were. Big Surprise- they are my favorite new chip!
I was recently asked to share a secret talent. Of course I said Oh I got this. I’m sure one of the kids could do something fun. Then they refused. Don’t you hate when your kids realize they don’t have to do everything you ask? Well, that left me back to what my special talent could be that not everyone else could do. I was stumped so I turned back to those unhelpful children and asked them. Johnny said I needed to let you know my special talent is that I can touch my tongue to my nose. It drives my boys crazy that they can do it. Johnny’s special talent is that he can raise one one eyebrow at a time and we agreed that Gavin’s special talent is that he is a super reader and is (officially!) the smartest kid in his grade at school. We are still learning all about Sawyer’s special talents but right now his special talent is that he can shut down my laptop and reprogram it in less then a minute.
