Hubby loves Peanut Butter but the kids aren’t the biggest fan. So when I make something that is a big PB dessert I want it to be both simple and good. These NutterButter Peanut Butter Balls are just that. I found a recipe in the recent addition of Kraft’s food & family magazine but while making it I got lazy and ended up only using what I had on hand so it is mildly different.
In large bowl take the Nutter Butter cookies and smash them up. Add softened cream cheese and mix. I found it was easiest to honestly just stick my hands in and get dirty.
Use a small scoop and roll it in the palm of your hands. You should end up with a bunch of 1 inch balls. Place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Stick in freezer for 10 minutes.
Melt chocolate and dunk peanut butter balls in chocolate. Place back on parchment covered cookie sheet. Refrigerate for one hour until firm. Keep refrigerated.
Easy, right? Your family will LOVE these and think you spent far longer slaving away making them. Once chilled you can pop them into an air tight container and they even make for crazy easy transporting.

I am making these for the neighbors! Thanks! Any suggestions to make the dunking easy? Last time I dunked something in chocolate it was all over my hands and the kitchen.

No I feel the same way. You could buy a fountain and do it that way- I’ve considered the idea. For now I just use two toothpicks.
Those look mighty yummy and easy enough to make. I’m definitely going to give them a try soon.
My daughter makes something similar to these. They are chocolate chip cookie dough balls dipped in chocolate. I am going to get her to make these for sure and I printed and Pinned this recipe. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Are you using the sandwich cookies or the wafer like cookies? Will either work?
Great recipe, very yummy! Any suggestions for other ways to use the left over Miso paste? Marinade? Make into another type of sauce? Ideas??? It’s too good to not use up!
