My Kids Vlog Their Water Knowledge {Brita #BottlesforKids} $50 Visa Gift Card Giveaway!

Water is so importance for us to intake for so many reasons. We as adults know and understand all these reasons but our kids are a bit different. They want the sugar for some odd reason. I’ve been lucky that Gavin won’t even taste soda and has no interest in it but Johnny makes sure to point out every “special occasion” as he’s not allowed to have it on a day to day basis.

We’re a pretty active family. We like water sports, we like gardening, and so many other outside fun. We hit the bike trails, and we go for long walks, and visit the park. When we do all these things we drink water and bring water with us. We all have good sized bottles that we fill up and take with us. Makes sure we stay hydrated throughout the day and helps cut down on spending money and making bad choices.

We push water all day long in our house. To be green and cut down on waste I’ve even invested in small water bottles for home use. I’ve found that by them using them regularly it has helped build a regular routine of drinking water all day long. They know what cup is theirs and they can easily all fill their bottles right from the fridge.

I’ve found by making this small change the amount of water my kids drink has definitely increased. It’s also cut down on the amount of juice and sugary drinks.

That’s one way I’ve helped my kids discover the wonders of water. Brita’s new product, the Brita Bottle for Kids, now provides an easy and fun way to have clean, filtered H2O on the go.

Now I’m curious, how do you encourage your kids to drink more water? Reply below and one of my readers will win a $50 Visa gift card!

I add a bit of flavoring to it, like a bit of their favorite juice, lemon, orange, or a stevia flavoring.

Not sure which place I was suppose to comment, so I have it in both places.

My teenage boys choose a water bottle if I keep them cold in our spare refrigerator. Propel also makes a good flavor water choice for them.
