I know I haven’t been around much in the past week. I also know that my giveaways have been dwindling as well. See, lately I’ve been torn. I love blogging. I do. However, I love my family too. Over the past four years I’ve been working really hard at building this site and it’s come a long way. I’ve built relationships with many brands and many readers for all different reasons.
One of those reasons are giveaways.
As Sawyer grows and we outgrow stages of our family I don’t really need the products for certain things. Problem? I know you guys love the giveaways. Just because I’m done growing my family doesn’t mean you’re done growing yours.
Another reason is time.
Product reviews take time. If the product has no use for me or my family it just doesn’t make sense to take it. It also doesn’t make sense to take that time away from my family. We want to do things. I’ve missed out on so much and it’s time to step away from the computer a little.
Then there are wants.
I want to stay home with my kids. I ant to do stuff with my kids. If I’m not posting about products that means I have time to post about fun crafts, recipes, and places we go. There’s always so much I’ve wanted to but I feel I’m always attached to the computer.
So what’s a girl to do?
Get a new reviewer that’s what!
I get pitched for things that are great. I know you want them as giveaways so I take them but they aren’t always needed or useful for my family. So by bringing someone on that can really use the things I no longer need you can still get all the giveaways but I can take a break and bring you the posts I really want to be bringing you.
So, the question is who?
That’s actually been a question for about a year now. It’s really hard finding just the right person. To be most beneficial she’d have to be just starting to have kids. Having a girl would be helpful too. Some experience as a blogger already definitely helps as well as taking great photos.
Again, , the question is who?

It is hard to balance it all, I know! That’s why I took on more reviewers for the first time a year and a half ago. I’m sure you’ll be able to save a little bit of your sanity and have more time with your family 🙂
