Whirlpool Duet Front Loading Washer & Dryer {Precision Dispense} #WhirlpoolMoms

I’ve had my Whirlpool Duet Front Loading Washer & Dryer set now for a couple of weeks. I previously owned a set of front loaders from LG/Tromm. If you ever asked me about them I hated them. They required so much regular maintenance that it was ridiculous. I wanted clean clothes- not something new to clean. So when I was offered by Mom Central to get rid of that set and try out these beautiful new Whirlpool Duets.

They do look beautiful- don’t they?

My laundry space isn’t huge. When we rebuilt after the fire we converted a walk in closet on the second floor of our home into  our laundry room. It wasn’t connected to any of the bedrooms and it was also a passage way into the attic so it was a perfect spot. As you can see it was a tight fit but we made it.

Since getting them my favorite feature so far is the Precision Dispense.

Precision Dispense Ultra
Cleans better and uses less detergent, saving nearly 10% in HE detergent costs. By adding detergent throughout the length of the fill time, Precision Dispense Ultra delivers better results than adding detergent manually. The system also releases bleach and fabric softener at the right time during the cycle for optimal fabric care. The removable reservoir can hold enough detergent for up to 36 loads of laundry in a single filling.

This feature is amazing and thought I could tell you about it but really I needed to show it to you.

Stick around as I share more with you over the next few months about these awesome front loaders. In just a couple of weeks I’ve already seen a difference in use from my old set and I’ve already seen a savings.

I wrote this review while participating in a test-drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Whirlpool and received a complimentary Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer to facilitate my review.

Great post! The video was very informative! I love the Precision Dispense. I do the same thing – dump in to much detergent, then hit that extra rinse button! lol

      They don’t, those are silver.

Can you do a cloth diaper wash? See how much water loads up in there and how well it rinses?

    • Jennifer says

I don’t do cloth diapering (I don’t have a child in diapers even right now). The “tub” doesn’t fill with water like a top loader to conserve water.

Nice, we’ve been wondering what washer/dryer to get, I’ll put these on my short list.
