My Weekly Recap #3

I’m so glad I decided to start doing this. I love setting up these posts because I have so much fun looking at the past week. What I didn’t realize was that it would be work to take a photo everyday. A photo that doesn’t end up in another post makes it even harder. If you’re not doing this I highly recommend starting!

Monday
I went grocery shopping at Big Y which isn’t a common grocery store on coupon blogs and is generally harder to pull off a good deal so I was really pleased that I turned my $140 purchase into a  $51.54 one and a gold coin (which gets you a really good deal in the future).

Tuesday
As many of you know my SD card got stuck (and still is!) in my CD drive this night. I realized I no longer had a pic for the week and snapped a picture of dinner. Yes, a dinner of champions. It was 8pm by the time I realized it was dinnertime we had been having so much fun outside. Quick fix? Kraft mac n cheese with hot dogs and ketchup- and yes I know many people find the ketchup gross but we love it.

Wednesday
We took out the Funrise Big Bubble Wand and had a blast with it. Gavin had such a good time, especially when the bubbles were as big as him!

Thursday
Gavin was all excited to break open the new sidewalk chalk the Easter bunny brought him. He goes through chalk quickly because he loves drawing. He was down to little pieces so all these made his day.

Friday
We picked up Johnny’s uniform since on Saturday both boys had their first games. Gavin didn’t get his until the morning of. I got this pic of him really quick and I like it!

Saturday
Even though my birthday is still 2 weeks away my husband threw me a surprise birthday party. And, yes, I was completely surprised! Gotta love the photo of me they decided to put on the cake! I still can’t believe I’m turning 30!!!

Sunday
This was the last weekend to burn around here so we got a permit and burned all we could. It looks so nice all cleaned up around now.

Hope your week was good.

Sounds like a great week. Hot dogs and macaroni and cheese is the bomb meal! Ketchup, I will pass. :oP Happy 30th to you! My 30th is in January, so not too much longer! That is one great bubble!

  5. No ketchup – not on mac n cheese or hot dots. At least not for me. One of my twins developed a very strong passion for the stuff. I actually had to go buy some. Sheesh. Food tastes too good to hid with ketchup flavor. But I think mac n cheese with (veggie) hot dogs is a great comfort food. I still have to micro chop the hot dogs for now.

    Great looking cake!
