Hope everybody had a wonderful Easter! I’m sure we all have tons of photos to share. I’ll get to those later but for now here’s my weekly recap towards my 365 project.
Monday
First day of April vacation. The kids took over the house so I took on a project or two. I made it ‘behind closed doors day’ lol! I cleaned out all the closets, pantry, etc. While at the end of the day you couldn’t tell I did anything it was so nice to do and will be really helpful later.
Tuesday
I had Gavin try on the suit I got him from The Children’s Place for Easter. He loved the socks and refused to take them off. He hiked them up and ran around the house with them and we all got a good laugh.
Wednesday
Nanny came back from FL and took the kids for an overnight. They were super excited and made us wait outside until she came to pick them up.
Thursday
I went shopping. Kid-free. It was a wonderful thing. I went out mainly for Easter basket stuff but since there were no kids with me I had the time to actually walk around and look around. I saw this and just had to buy it. It’s wood. Love it!
Friday
I brought the kids to the Eric Carle museum. It was fun but in the middle of no where. I’ve driven past it before and never even realized it was there.
Saturday
Baking Day! I prepped a bunch of the desserts I made to bring to my mother in laws. Brownies being one of them. Like my Brownie Bunnies?
Sunday
It hit me hard today that with Gavin being almost 5 years old this is likely the last year he’ll ever let me put him in some corny sweatshirt that has a bunny tail on the back…
Are you staying on top of your 365 project?
(Do you want a weekly linky here?)
That last one made me sad! They grow up so fast so we might as well dress them as goofy as we want for as long as we can! ๐
1. i love the little bunny sweatshirt…i may have to attempt to make one. so cute! and i have two small ones that i totally go crazy over matching. they were winnie the pooh and piglet for halloween 2 years ago and mickey and minnie mouse last year. i figure eventually they won’t let me…so i’m taking advantage of the cuteness while i can!
2. most friday nights i go grocery shopping alone. my husband doesn’t understand why i want to spend my friday night grocery shopping when i stay home with the kids all week long…but i seriously love just browsing. i go to the store and i walk around like a zombie for 2 hours. it’s so nice to just shop kidless!
Love it all! The socks thing is so something Warren would do too. Your bunnies turned out adorable and yes, little things like the bunny sweatshirt make me sad too. ๐
It looks and sounds like you had a great, productive week ๐
I seriously love those socks-No wonder he didn’t want to take them off! Hehe
cleaning out closets are no fun. I have a couple of huge projects a head of me and I have to tell you I’m the one hiding. I save cute sweatshirts like that to put on their stuffed animals
sounds like a productive week
I love those browinies. How cute! Shopping alone without kids?! What’s that?! I don’t think I have done that for 3 years. LOL!
