Weekly Goals: Week Two

So, how’d you do last week? I did okay. I didn’t finish but I didn’t really fail either. My kitchen definitely isn’t a one day deal. Well not if I really want all the cabinets gone through hand organized the way I want them to be. I had a lot of large projects planned each day and while I got most of it done- it wasn’t all done when I wanted them to be. So with that I’m going to learn from my mistake and be a little more practical this week.

Monday: Go through all my baking supplies and reorganize them
Tuesday: Catch up on emails (I have over 500 of them EEK!)
Wednesday: Go through kids closets and get rid of all clothes to small.
(I bag them and then wash and tag them for a local consignment)
Thursday: Bathrooms & Laundry Room (I hate cleaning this room!)
Friday: Work on things I didn’t get done.
Week Long Goal: Continue working on organizing kitchen

So there’s my week. What’s yours looking like?

I was able to clean out the hall closet and reorganize it to make room for 2 new sheet sets. I also cleaned out the bathroom cabinets. There was tons of old makeup, hairspray, etc. that doesn’t get used anymore and it was taking up space. I did have a day where I had all of my daughter’s toys cleaned up and in their place, but that didn’t last long! LOL!

This week, my plan is to work in the laundry room closet. It is stuffed full and stuff is falling out. I also want to take everything out of the refrigerator and completely wipe it down. It’s been a few months since I did that last, eek!

    Good luck this week!

    Jennifer,
Your post motivated me to get myself in gear. I took everything out of my fridge and cleaned everything top to bottom. It took a few hours but by the time I was done, it looked like a brand new kitchen. I would love to tackle 2-3 big jobs like this every week. 🙂

Sounds like you are making headway! Isn’t it the best feeling getting those big jobs done? I just sorted through my guest room closet a couple of weeks ago in preparation for guests…it had gotten way out of hand! It was a ton of work and took quite a while but man it felt good when I was done! Keep up the good work. 🙂
