Wee Squeak – Fun Squeaky Shoes For Kids!

Kids love to have fun. So why not make some of their everyday basics into every day fun? The people at Wee Squeak know what brings smiles to children and they know that every child who puts a pair of their shoes on is going to have a smile on their face!

We received the Navy with White Stripes Tennis Shoes. These are really cute shoes. They match all of his outfits and look great with jeans! They do have laces which are hard for Gavin and I would have preferred them a lot more with velcro so that Gavin didn’t get frustrated by not being able to put his shoes on by himself. The quality is great and they don’t bother him in any way. They still provide support like other well known brands and you can also roll the soles in both directions like recommended. I also love that these shoes have a nice sized rubber toe so he can play and not worry about getting hurt.

We know that not every where we go these little squeakers are going to be appreciated by everyone. We love their look and definitely wanted to be able to have them be a part of his preschool wardrobe so we knew that the squeakers couldn’t stay in full time. On the inside of the heel on both shoes you’ll see these little plastic inserts. Just pull them out and you’re good to go. Just make sure when you take them out not to squish them. The first time will be difficult. We pulled ours out the first time with nothing but a keychain at the mall after my husband was sick of all the stares we were getting. Just simply blow into the plastic piece to make sure you didn’t damage it. Also warning its small and you can choke so I also don’t recommend putting it into yours (or anyone else’s) mouth. If you hear it you know its good to go. Put them in a safe spot and insert them back in to make them squeaky shoes again. After the initial “take out” they will be very simple to take them in and out.

Gavin absolutely loves these shoes. We reviewed a different pair of boys shoes last year and Gavin wore them until the squeakers stopped working and then some. The shoes lasted longer then he could fit into them, making them a great quality shoe!
