Learning The Ropes… Excuse The Mess!

My first wordpress post. Hmm its like written in japanese back here and I have no clue as to what I am doing. How in the world am I going to pull this off! I’m SO nervous now! I mean serious what in the world is:

I came here to tell you to please excuse the mess while my awesome designer is still not finished. I’m holding her up! I can’t think of a better tag line and I’m not yet sure on the button. Any ideas? I’d post a picture of some sort on the post but I don’t even know how. Somehow I got myself stuck on full screen. You know like on you tube when the whole screen pops out. Seriously odd back here. I should screen shot this and show you. I’m clueless and don’t know if there is something I shouldn’t be showing. I wouldn’t even know HOW to post the pic if I pulled it off either!

So wish me luck, don’t mind the mess and get used to visiting this URL! J. Leigh Designz will automatically forward here in the future until then…..

Don’t mind the mess, I have a lot of learning to do (like how not to make it space my sentences out just because I hit enter!

Ps once I know how the comment moderation will be OFF!

Trust me girl, do not take comment moderation off. Instead, make it so that once someone makes a comment and you approve it then all comments by that person will be automatically approved. Otherwise you open yourself up to more spam than you ever dreamed. Also set it so that if someone includes 2 or more links you manually approve. (This is all in discussion settings of your dashboard)

And any questions you have? Just google it. Most people have asked the question before.

To put a picture in the post put your cursor in the post where you want the picture, click on the picture icon. Assuming your picture is stored on your computer, click on the from computer tab, select files. Find your picture, click on it and it will upload. Then click on the size you want (medium, large/fullsize, etc) and click insert into post. If you have featured images in your theme then you’ll want to click on the “use as featured image button” as well. (Not sure if you are having thumbnails such as with the themes on both my blogs)
