If You Think I’m A Bitch…

Maybe I’ve been living in a cave. Maybe not. I have been seeing these shirts around lately that completely disgust me. I seriously don’t understand what kind of mother buys their child a shirt that says “If you think I’m a bitch, You should meet my mother”.

When my family recently went on vacation we were appalled when we went to a kids zoo and saw not just one but multiple kids in these shirts. The worse was a mom and daughter combo. The mom’s said her daughter was one, the mom- her daughter (about 12 years old). There shirts were neon in color and sadly it was my 9 year old son who pointed them out to us. Nice.

I mean seriously people? This screams white trash! If you wouldn’t allow your child to say the words- why in the world would you let them wear the words? I just pray to god if you own one of these you have enough common sense not to let your child wear them to school! I hope if they did wear them they’d be sent home.
Why do I assume kids are wearing them? Because you’ll find them available in every size possible.
Right down to an infant onesie. Please don’t tell me you find this funny. Yes, maybe on the shelf in the store the idea of it is but reality check people no one finds it funny to see your child in it. If I ever heard someone call a baby this to begin with you’d hear a few other choice words out of my mouth following it.

Am I the only one completely blown away by these shirts growing popularity?
Do you think kid friendly places like zoos should not permit clothing like this for our children to read?

***I’d give you a link to the shirts but I don’t want to encourage anyone buying them or give the sites selling them any points with google.
