Prince Lionheart – chop balance BIKE {Review & Giveaway}

We were excited when we heard Gavin would have one of the very first chances to review this chopper. When it arrived it spent all of 5 minutes in the box because even Johnny thought this bike looked super cool!

When we opened up the box we were impressed with how well all the pieces were wrapped.

There weren’t many pieces that were required for assembly:

This was the directions. While they were simple I wish there were worded directions as well. There are pretty easy to follow but I like the confirmation of thorough directions and sometimes with a photo there is room to ponder.

First you’re going to attach the back wheel. What I love is that they are REAL rubber wheels like most bikes have so your child learns to grip the ground in the same manner a regular bike would.

Then attach the body to the front handle bars piece that also hold the front wheel.

Then you’re going to want to attach the front wheel. We found it easiest to do by flipping the bike over.

Once it is fully assembled you’re going to have this really cool “motorcycle bike” as Gavin calls it.

I have been worried about Gavin wanting to use this bike. He has another balance bike that he refuses to get on. We also bought him a bike with pedals for his birthday that he has absolutely no desire to ride. So when this came in I was nervous he would refuse to get on this one too! Nope, just the opposite actually!

As you can see we did need to bring the seat up a little so he could push himself off better. I like that you can adjust the seat to your own childs height. This bike is incredibly cool looking and we are happy that Gavin has finally taken to a bike that he will use! We’ve been using it since and he is just starting to have some confidence with a little more speed!
