Little Tikes is a well known name at our house. We have been purchasing their products for years. Even I had Little Tikes toys when I was little. Of course Little Tikes has come a far way since the toys I played with in the 80’s but the fun they offer still stands. It’s no surprise Little Tikes is celebrating their 40th Anniversary right now! With fun, durable toys you know that will last for years it won’t surprise me when they are around in another 40!
I knew from the moment I saw the Backyard Barbeque™ Get Out ‘n’ Grill that Gavin would be thrilled! He loves watching his Daddy cook up hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill and often mimics him in his kitchen in his room.
It came in one box not too big in size.
It was a bit more to assemble then other Little Tikes Toys we own. You will need a drill to put it together. Of course like everything else my 9 year old built this so I wouldn’t call it complicated. One thing I learned the hard way is that sometimes Little Tikes stickers go one before all the pieces. When we built our Little Tikes Super Chef Kitchen we weren’t able to get one of the stickers on afterwards. So make sure to put the below sticker on before the knobs.
Once it was all put together I could hardly get Gavin to step away long enough to take pictures. I’m actually holding him back when I took these.
We love this Little Tikes Backyard Barbeque™ Get Out ‘n’ Grill. I am definitely interested in purchasing the accessory sets to go with it. The Backyard Barbeque™ Backyard Picnic and the Backyard Barbeque™ Chef’s Accessory Set are both on my to get lists!
The grill even has two side burners and hooks to hang their spatula and tongs!
Gavin loves that the doors below the grill open and close. And yes! They do close. I have so many products that get stuck or don’t actually close but these open and close with no problems.
Gavin just loves being able to flip his hamburgers and he keeps practicing to try and make the prefect flip.
