Puddle Gear – Children’s Abeko Rain Gear that’s PVC Free! Review!

My husband loves to go fishing. Especially in the early hours on his weekends off in the summer. His favorite is when it’s misting and damp. My 9 year old son loves to go with him. Sadly, my husband always had a rain suit but I could never find one for my son so he couldn’t join him on these mornings.
I searched high and low for some great raingear for older children but all I could find were adult sets and sets for small children. My 9 year old tried the Willy Set which comes with waist trousers and a hooded jacket. It’s available in green, navy, and red with black pants. We really like that it is a moveable breathable fabric unlike those stiff hard plastic coats you see everywhere. It is super soft on both sides so I know in the warmer summer days when its against his skin it won’t irritate him. I would recommend not using this as an only coat in the early spring months if you’re up north like me. My son has a turtle neck and fleece sweatshirt under his Willy Rain Jacket and he can easily move around.
I really like the reflective strips. It is a great bonus safety feature. I know now when he goes outside he’ll be easily seen. Its always dark and cloudy when it rains. I took the photos below one with flash one without so you could really see how great the reflective strips work!
